Rocastle humbles Robson and Ince at Old Trafford

It goes without saying that David Rocastle is an Arsenal legend. It wasn't just his talent as a player but his commitment to the cause which makes him a firm favourite with all Gooners, even those who never saw him play.

He will forever be remembered for that goal in the league cup semi-final against Spurs, but while this effort at Old Trafford in October 1991 wasn't as crucial, it demonstrates what a fabulous player he was.

Gathering the ball inside his own half, he surged past Paul Ince and Bryan Robson before chipping Peter Schmeichel from 25 yards. He may have had a slice of fortune with the finish, but the way he outmuscled and outwitted two of the era's finest English midfielders was a joy to behold..
